We have a dossier of evidence
Citizen’s Arrest Network is holding corporate executives to account over their environmental crimes by performing citizens’ arrests. Our collaboration with CAN has spanned strategy and creative consultation, developing the visual identity, web design and social media management since the campaign’s inception.
With/for: Citizen's Arrest Network (2024 –)
The visual identity is centred around our ‘Citizen's tartan’ pattern, a play on the police's 'sillitoe tartan'. Instead of being just blue or black, this multicloured strip represents the people standing up together instead of standing by as they continue to pollute our rivers, land and air. It serves as distinctive and decorative as well as defining the layout grid for the other designs including the campaign website.

Our social media strategy, content design, video direction and account management drove huge engagement to this bold new tactic across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook — 5 million views and 14.5k followers in the first 10 days alone, with over 22 million views and counting since.

When you confront a CEO, you need to look the part. As well as being prepared with dossiers of evidence to see them put behind bars, we helped ensure squads were dressed for the occasion with stylists, and hair and makeup artists on hand to support.
This small group of women are taking on the UK’s biggest polluters, the styling was about bringing out what was already within so that the women felt comfortable and powerful in their own skin as they confronted the criminal bosses of water companies and oil executives.
